Appearance
Constantly cloaked in flowly black robes and a elaborate mask his appearance is a hot topic in Mossfall, theories range from "he's too handsome so he has to hide his beauty" to "he's secretly a beastfolk with a bad case of mange". The truth is, his shell body is just rapidly deteriorating due to the heat and humidity of the swamp. He hides flowers and herbs under his cloak to disguise the smell.
Appearance
He is a Parasitian who connected with his shell body at a young age after its shell had passed in a freak accident. His shell's parents rejoiced in their son's return, despite knowing he had been replaced. They still decided to raise Norman as their own. As a child, his parents read him the tale of a knight, who came from a faraway land and was not like the other townspeople. This knight still choose to help his fellow townspeople despite their hatred for him. Norman took this story to heart, even after the villagers in his hometown burnt down his house, killing his parents. His parents last words were to survive, and remember the knight.
Norman ran as far as he could from his hometown, before stopping at a brand new town in the swamp called Mossfall. They greeted him with open arms, and that is where he's lived ever since. He has since put everything into helping the town and its people. Though the people would never do such a thing, he is constantly on guard, worried that they will turn on him like his old village had.
Talents
Strangely enough, he is skilled with magic (although he rarely uses it).
Weaknesses
Due to his rotting shell, he can only wear light armor as to not put unnecessary pressure on it.
