History

Timelines

The historical timeline of Alathra 3 can be approached in two systems – first being the academical system accepted universally as the timeline that best characterizes the events and periods of past times, independent of any one nation’s specific history. In the academical system, the Alathra 3 timeline is divided into ages, separated by major events such as worldwide conflicts and falls of civilizations.

The Sevoa system was a result of political reforms in Sevoa, where a strict calendar was required for agricultural work. With these reforms came the concept of eras, with the most recent being the Third Era. Transitions between eras is specific to Sevoa’s historical development, but since Sevoa has had a large influence on most of the Old World, a lot of nations have therefore adopted their calendar for reasons of business, diplomatical relations, implementations of similar agricultural policies, and so forth.
